Situated in a derelict bunker on the site of the former largest shipyard in Denmark, this speculative reuse project undertook an intense site analysis and shone a light on possibilities for community access. On-site mapping, an interview campaign for local residents, and fictional writing were woven together to speculate on the bunker's future. (Gallery) Part of the project process included transforming six hour-long interviews with neighbors around the site into a small folklore anthology of six fictional stories. Stories featured here embrace the formats of science fiction and poetry to reveal the character of specific places around the site - the houseboats, and the lawn. Illustrations by author.

In the absence of drawings, we measured and surveyed the existing bunker structure.

(Animation) Proposed bunker alterations and speculations on how the diverse spaces in the House of Future Folklore might be used - a cinema, a lending library, a temporary bunkhouse, an outdoor kitchen, a club.
